Stourbridge's Ryemarket multi-storey car park is to close at night times to help put a stop to anti-social behaviour.

Dudley Council bosses say they have reinstated night time closures of the car park, which forms part of the Ryemarket shopping centre, as only 360 cars parked there at night throughout the year.

Cillian Murphy and Paddy Considine are some of the stars that have been shooting scenes at the Black Country Living Museum this week.

Cameras started rolling yesterday (Thursday) and there is a "huge buzz" around the show according to producer Simon Maloney.

Cash-strapped Sandwell Council is selling off three car parks in Cradley Heath and Old Hill.

The council, which is in the middle of making £22 million cuts in two years, announced it is selling car parks on Cradley Heath's Lower High Street car park and Highgate Street South and Haden Road in Old Hill.

Regeneration bosses have vowed to complete the transformation of Kidderminster town centre areas on time despite encountering problems.

Wyre Forest District Council’s public realm scheme, which is part of a wider £2million improvement programme, continues with new seating and street lamps being installed in Vicar Street and High Street.

Redditch Borough Council has voted to join the West Midlands Combined Authority as a non-constituent member. 

During a meeting last night councillors voted 10-16 in favour of the proposals which will give Redditch a say in the new authority.

A Bromsgrove woman has been recognised in a national competition to find future leaders in the housing sector.

Leanne Wilkins, aged 27, a customer scrutiny support officer at WM Housing Group in Birmingham, features in a list of "Young Leaders 2015", dedicated to up-and-coming housing professionals under 30 years old.
