A DRAMA group is performing its latest production in Rubery this October.

Rubery Drama Group is performing The Happiest Days of your Life at Beacon Church Centre, in Whetty Lane, from Thursday, October 22, to Saturday, October 24.

The play is written by John Dighton, set in 1948, and begins on the first day of term at Hilary Hall School for boys.

All is well until the headteacher receives a letter explaining some schools have found their premises uninhabitable, following evacuation during the war.

It is assumed the school will be shared with another boys school, until there is a surprise.

For each performance doors open at 7pm, curtains going up at 7.30pm.

Each production is directed by Bob Sawyer.

Tickets cost £7, £6 concessions, which are available to purchase by calling 0121 453 8733 or 0121 445 2323.
