A Kidderminster man is fighting for his life after falling from the roof of a house.

Police were called to a property in Radford Avenue in the town Sunday night (October 11) after receiving a report of threatening behaviour.

But, when officers attended the house, a 31-year-old man made his way on to the roof of the property and subsequently fell to the ground.

Witnesses and information are being sought by police after a car driver was attacked in Redditch.

The driver was travelling near Greenlands near Woodrow North, Redditch, between 6.40pm and 7pm on Sunday, October 11 when they heard a loud bang, and fearing something had happened to the vehicle, got out to inspect it.

Whilst stood at the rear of the vehicle, the victim was hit on the back of the head, grabbed by the right shoulder area, pulled to the floor and a foot placed on their left cheek, pinning their head to the floor.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a non-stop traffic collision in Stourbridge, in which a 12-year-old lad was left seriously injured.

The collision took place Monday, October 5 at 7.25pm in Brook Street at the junction of Heath Street.

The 12-year-old boy was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle, which then drove off without stopping.

Two Bromsgrove parents have criticised a marking blunder, which left their 16 year old sons facing re-sits of their English language GCSE after being told they did not get the grades needed for the next step in their education.

After an appeal, the exam board has re-marked Alfie Bloomer's paper - and upgraded him from a D to a C, which was what he needed to get on to his sports science course at Heart of Worcestershire College's Redditch campus.

A classmate at South Bromsgrove High School faced a similar ordeal as he waited for a re-mark, which also upgraded him from a D to a C in the same subject.

Dudley Zoo's baby orangutan Sprout looked like a film star when she gave her mum a Spider-Man style kiss.

The magical moment, which mirrored the famous smooch in the hit 2002 Hollywood blockbuster Spider-Man, was captured on camera by zoo regular Kathryn Willett.

The amateur photographer was thrilled with her shot of Sprout puckering up for mum Jazz while hanging upside down.
