MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Golf Club swapped their clubs for a cuppa when they took part in the world's biggest coffee morning event raising money for a cancer charity.
A cake sale, raffle, and the coffee morning took place on September 24 and 25, which was enjoyed by the members of the Old Stratford Road-based club and raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event included the sale of a selection of homemade cakes, which was enjoyed by all those who attended, for a small donation.
An impressive £1,043 was collected for the charity, which helps people living with cancer and their families.
John Brothwood, from the golf club, said: "Well done to the club membership, clubhouse staff and the many bakers and supporters who contributed to the success of the event."
