A VETERAN folk performer is appearing at a Bromsgrove music night this October.
John Connoly will be performing at Bromsgrove Folk Club from 8pm on Thursday, October 29.
John is best known for writing the folk classic Fiddlers Green and Punch and Judy Man, and has gained a reputation as an experienced and accomplished performer.
He entertains with his songs as well as comments on life in general.
He hails from Grimsby and writes songs, serous and humorous, about the subjects he sees around him.
The event takes place at the club's usual meeting place, Catshill Social Club in Meadow Road.
Local favourites Fairfield will also be attending.
