Vicki Stiles said she was thrilled a recent fundraiser at Hillscourt Rose Hotel managed to raise £2,000.
A FUNDRAISING party in Lickey raised more than £2,000 for good causes.
The party, called Party with a Purpose, was held at Hillscourt Rose Hotel, in Rose Hill, on October 17.
Party-goers were entertained with a DJ, buffet and a raffle.
Vicki Stiles, one of the organisers of the evening, said she was thrilled they managed to raise £2,000 which is being donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses, and Macmillan Cancer Support, which provides support for people living with cancer.
Vicki added she wanted to thank everyone who bought a ticket and attended the evening.
