CHILDREN at Rednal playgroups enjoyed a spooky time as they celebrated Halloween.
The Plus 2's and Play Days playgroups, based at St Stephen's Church in Rednal, enjoyed a range of Halloween-themed activities at St Stephen's Church in Rednal.
Youngsters enjoyed homemade pumpkin soup and carved a pumpkin.
Storytime was based on Room on a Broom, and the Gruffalo, while creative activities included making their own witches hats, masks and Gruffalo’s. The children also decorated biscuits using sparkly bits, green and orange icing and pumpkin shaped iced shapes.
Jules Kite-Lightfoot, the manager of playgroups, said: "We try to provide the children with a wide range of new opportunities and wider their understanding of the world around them in a fun enjoyable way."
