A man indecently exposed himself to a Bromsgrove homeowner after tapping on her window.

At around 1.15am on Friday (November 27) a woman heard someone tapping on the window of her property in Pennine Road, Bromsgrove.

When she opened the curtains a man was standing outside exposing himself.

A pedestrian has died after a crash with a car in Stourbridge on Sunday evening.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Brettell Lane, in Stourbrdige, shortly before 6.50pm on Sunday (November 29) where the pedestrian had been in a crash with a car.

The pedestrian, a man, was confirmed dead at the scene.

A man received a stab wound following a fight during a robbery at a property in Redditch.

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses after the robbery at the property in Beoley Road West on Monday, November 9.

At around 11.15pm, the occupants of the house heard a loud banging on the front door. One of the victims went towards the front door and was stood on the upstairs landing when three men ran up the stairs towards her demanding money.

A Black Country foster couple who have been caring for children for more than 30 years were recently celebrated for their work.

Peter and Pat Coyne have provided short-break foster care for dozens of children and young people – despite also looking after their own disabled son before he passed away.

The pair are currently the longest-serving foster carers with Halesowen-based Barnardo’s Midlands Overnight Short Breaks scheme.

Magistrates have slapped a Criminal Behaviour Order on an anti-social Kidderminster woman who had committed a string of offences in the town.

Rebecca Canty, of Park Street, Kidderminster, was handed the four-year CBO at a hearing at the town’s court on Thursday, November 19.

The court was told that the 37-year-old had been involved in criminal activity and anti-social behaviour.

A police inspector who ordered back-up to slow down while colleagues made urgent calls for help at a pizzeria punch-up has been sacked after deliberately lying "to cover up his own failings", a misconduct panel has found.

Inspector Jaswant Singh told colleagues to "calm down" despite a police sergeant warning over the radio the scene was "going off like a bottle of pop" at Olivio's in Stourbridge, West Midlands, last year.

A West Midlands Police misconduct panel determined the officer of 24 years experience was guilty of gross misconduct after a "serious" breach of professional standards following the incident of February 23.
