Coroner rules accidental death for man found on Bromsgrove doorstep
A MAN died as the result of an accident after he was found dead on a Bromsgrove doorstep, a coroner has ruled.
Stephen James Powell, 41, of no fixed address, took an amount of prescription medication and died on a doorstep in Bishop Hall Crescent, in Bromsgrove, on April 30.
An inquest held by Worcestershire Coroner’s Service, which opened on July 22, and closed on Tuesday, December 1, ruled he died as the result of an accident.
The medical cause of death, confirmed at the inquest, is listed as drug overdose.
