HUNDREDS of posts will be up for grabs at a jobs fair hosted by Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid on February 5.

The event is due to be attended by more than 30 local employers, who will be recruiting for positions at a range of levels, from apprenticeships to full-time professional roles.

The National Careers Service will also run a CV clinic on the day and the event, from 10am until 3pm at Parkside, Market Street, Bromsgrove, is being supported by Bromsgrove Job Centre Plus.

Mr Javid, who is Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, organised his first Bromsgrove Jobs Fair last year - the biggest ever held in the town, with hundreds of local people attending. Employers already confirmed to attend the latest fair include National Express, Jaguar Land Rover, Oakland International, Curo Chartered Accountants, Barrie Beard Ltd, Gym Shark, the National Trust, Care Force Ltd, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue, the Army, the RAF, Cook & Associates and Air Technology Systems.

Mr Javid said: “This year is set to be another fantastic, free event for residents with an exciting range of local employers.

"If you’re looking for a job, apprenticeship or career change then I urge you to drop by on the day.

"This is your chance to speak face to face with your future boss.

"This is about opportunities – I want to help more local people to get the jobs they want, and I want to help more local employers to get the people they need."
