ARTRIX, Bromsgrove was presented with a cheque for £50 today after Asda customers voted it to be one of their favourite local charities under Asda’s Community Life project.

Each month, Asda customers choose which Bromsgrove charity should be given money from the scheme, which aims to make local communities better places to live and work.

Hannah Phillips, Artrix director, said: “We’re really grateful to Asda customers in Bromsgrove for nominating us as one of their favourite local charities. This money will go towards supporting our important work with young people in the local community.”

Customers chose Artrix to receive the award in November and December last year.

The Artrix runs a learning and engagement programme for people of all ages in schools, colleges and youth clubs.
