ANYONE hoping to learn more about the issues surrounding the EU referendum, will be able to find out all about both sides of the argument at a hustings event taking place in June.

The hustings is being hosted by the Churches Together group, which has held similar events for previous general elections, and will be taking place at St John’s Middle School in Bromsgrove.

There will be a brief introduction to how the European Union works, and then speakers for both sides of the argument, in the form of Professor Simon Green, vice chancellor of Aston University speaking for the ‘Remain’ campaign, and Lichfield MP the Rt Hon Michael Fabricant for the ‘Leave’ campaign.

People will get the opportunity to submit any questions for either speaker, in advance to the chair Hilda Roxborough by email to stjohnsbromsgrove@btinternet.com.

She said: “Why not take this unique opportunity to get closer to an informed, considered decision especially if you are still undecided. Everyone is warmly welcomed to this open meeting.”

The hustings will be taking place on Saturday, Jun 4 from 3-5pm at St John’s Middle School in Watt Close.
