BEOLEY Village Hall runs a regular "Trad Jazz" night, with many of the top UK bands having played in the village.

This Friday, May 27, there will be a special evening with a visiting duo from the USA, "Ivory and Gold".

The "Ivory" is Jeff Barnhart on keyboards and "Gold" is Jeff's wife, Anne who plays a gold flute.

They are joined by "Spats" Langham on banjo and Graham Smith on drums.

As well as jazz, there will be a selection of numbers from other genres of music, including ragtime and the American Songbook and all accompanied by a great deal of humour.

The hall opens at 7.30pm and the band performance will start at 8.30pm. Tickets will be available on the door costing £9 person.

Beoley Village Hall has a bar which will be open.

A spokesman said: "This promises to be a fantastic evening of music and humour."
