PEOPLE keen on taking care of the countryside might want to go along to a meeting of the Fairfield Community Association on Saturday, July 23 at Fairfield Village Hall from 10am.
The association is on a mission to rid the neighbourhood of rubbish, organising community litter picks on the first Saturday of every month. Volunteers for the litter picks meet outside the village shop from 10.30am once a month, and will need to bring their own strong gardening gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather, and a hi-viz top if they have one.
