TWO pubs are brightening up families' summer holidays with free meals and a holiday up for grabs.

The Court Leet and Copcut Elm on Worcester Road are celebrating the start of the school holidays by giving away free veggie sticks between August 2 and August 7.

All families have to do is quote the code word 'rainbow' when ordering from the kids menu.

The pubs will also be giving away a family holiday for the most colourful summer selfie.

Sarah Glazzard, general manager at the Court Leet, said: "Summer is our favourite time of year, but we all know how unpredictable the British weather can be. We wanted to make sure we brighten up the holidays for families come rain or shine, with a delicious and healthy giveaway for Bromsgrove’s most colourful kids.

“As well as free food, what better way to celebrate the start of summer than with a holiday for the whole entire family? We can’t wait to see some of the brightest and most summery selfies that Bromsgrove has to offer.”

To enter, residents should post a summery photo of their family to the Hungry Horse facebook page before August 29.
