PUB-goers who fancy a Hot Night at the Village are in luck – as the exclusive Italian beer is heading to Bromsgrove as part of a 12-day beer festival.

The Golden Cross Hotel in High Street will run the festival from Wednesday, October 12, to Sunday, October 23, sourcing real ales from as far as Australia, South Africa and the USA.

A range of 25 hop varieties from the UK will also be on offer, with the majority of beers having been brewed for the first time exclusively for the festival.

Pub manager Cassie Harwood said: "The festival is the perfect opportunity to showcase the wonderful range of British-grown hop varieties and support British hop farmers.

"It will give people the opportunity to enjoy a superb selection of UK and international beers, many of which have not been served in the pub before.

"The festival promises to be great fun and I am certain that my customers will enjoy themselves."

The Bromsgrove pub won acclaim earlier in September after it was listed in Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide 2017.

Oversees beers at the event include Hopsession from South Africa, Braddon Bitter from Australia, as well as USA drinks Recreationale and Special Bitter.

The UK beers include Hip Hop Hooray, Hope & Glory, Coffee Milk Stout, Old Crafty Hen, Warrior Queen and Return from the Ashes.
