RESIDENTS that want a little help to get online can talk to a special advisor in Bromsgrove Library this week.

As part of national Get Online Week, 'digital champion' Paul Austin will be stationed in the Parkside Library until Friday, October 21 to support anyone with questions about getting on the web.

Visitors can also see the library's free wifi access map of the district, and are encouraged to add any other known free wifi spots for others to see.

Bromsgrove District Council leader Geoff Denaro said: "While it’s second nature to a lot of people, not everybody takes being online for granted. Cheaper bills, home deliveries, and keeping in closer touch with friends and family are just a few of the benefits and if all that’s needed is a bit of help and support, why not come and speak to our digital champion during get online week?”

The library is open 9am to 5pm on weekdays, except Mondays, when it is open until 7pm.
