PUPILS at Sidemoor First School in Bromsgrove sang, danced, and showed off their best Jedi moves to raise money for school funds.

35 children took part in the show on Wednesday, October 19 and more than 100 parents and siblings turned out to watch the pupils perform.

The contest saw magicians, dancers, gymnasts, singers and footballers show off their talents, raising around £500 for future projects at the school.

Richard Watkins, deputy headteacher at Sidemoor First, said: "It went really well and we had a really good turn out. The whole idea was that we wanted to raise money for school funds in a different way, and we had the idea of putting on a talent show. It was very much more a show rather than a competition, so it was really about showcasing pupils' talents."

Oscar Clements was voted the overall winner by a panel of judges, for his dance to One Direction, where all contestants joined in for the finale.
