SANTA, reindeers and Christmas cheer will be guaranteed in Bromsgrove next month as Primrose Hospice once again opens its doors for a festive fayre.

Father Christmas will be the star attraction at the event on St Godwalds Road from 12 noon until 4pm on Sunday, November 27, while two real reindeer will also join him until 2pm.

It is hoped the day help spread festive cheer while raising awareness of the services Primrose provide to patients and their families in the North East Worcestershire area.

Emma Williams, Community Fundraiser, said: "Following on from our successful Summer fete we wanted to open up our doors and invite everyone along to get into the festive spirit.

"We have so much happening and have a few special guests coming along as well. We will hopefully have both indoor and an outdoor undercover craft area.

"We have two special furry guests coming along, Ray and Farrah the reindeers, who will be around to meet our guests, and of course our Father Christmas who will be available to meet all our young visitors.

"We are also hosting taster sessions of the Holistic Therapies that we offer and there will be staff on site to chat about the services that can be accessed here.

"There is more to Primrose than meets the eye and we wanted to give the local community the chance to come and have a look around and support their local hospice."

Children's activities include face painting and activities supported by Hobby Craft.

Other attractions include The Little Retro Kitchen, Spuddies Hot Potatoes, Retro Lilly’s waffle van, the Primrose Choir, mulled wine, mince pies, craft stalls, raffle, tombola, cake stall, and complementary therapy taster sessions.

There will also be the opportunity to remember someone special at Christmas time by making a donation at the hospice’s Lights of Love stand.

The stand enables visitors to have the name of a loved one included in a remembrance book around shop Christmas Trees located in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Rubery.
