SIXTEEN members of Alpha United Junior Football Club had a treat on Saturday as they paraded their FA trophy during Bradford City's 4-0 win against Rochdale.

More than 18,000 home and away fans saw the junior club's players display their award after being chosen FA Club of the Year this summer.

The half time score of 2-0 to Bradford helped raise the atmosphere among the home supporters and cheers echoed around the ground as the youngsters took to the pitch.

Mohammed Waheed, found of Alpha United Juniors said: "We had a great reception from both sets of fans and our young members were congratulated. It's something they will remember for a long time and be able to tell their friends.

"Bradford City also ran a piece about us in their programme and put a link to our GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/alpha-united-juniors-fc-2uwwqr8 where we are raising money to help support our training sessions for boys and girls."
