GREEN-fingered children at a Bromsgrove school will be able to grow their own fresh fruit after receiving a donation of a green apple tree from Morrisons.
Students at Charford First School, on Charford Road, received two carts of apples and an apple tree from Morrisons Community Champion Gareth Worton.
The tree was planted by Year 4 pupils Omar Morsy and Isabelle Roberts and will form part of the school's fruit tree garden.
Teacher and Forest School leader, Louise Phillips, said: "It was lovely to have an apple tree donated to the school by Morrisons.
"We have planted it in our small orchard of fruit trees and look forward to eating the apples straight from the tree!"
