A SIDEMOOR singer has teamed up with two of his sons to release a new folk album, with money raised helping to support the vital work of a Bromsgrove charity.

Keith Judson, 56, has released his second album "Find Your Song" in aid of Primrose Hospice, to support their work with patients and families living with life-limiting illnesses.

Son Ben, 32, produced all 14 tracks – nine of which are original songs by Keith – with the remaining tracks put together by Ben, son Tim, 31, and songwriter Bryn Phillips.

Mr Judson, who is Chaplain at Primrose in a role supported by Bromsgrove Baptist Church, said: "I have been singing around the local folk scene for 12 to 13 years.

"I have been working on this new album for the last 18 months and it seemed like a good opportunity to raise money for Primrose. We are hoping to raise at least £1,000.

"Being from Bromsgrove many of the songs are reflective of the area as well as my own relationships and experiences.

"My eldest son produced the album and we have had it professionally mixed. My middle son plays on it too so it really is a family affair and I’m thrilled to bits with it.

"I’ve had one album out before which was good but Ben has done a superb job on producing this. He has managed to maintain the essential sound of one man and his guitar."

All of the musicians involved have given their time for free.

The CD, which was released on Thursday, December 1, costs £10 and is available at the hospice on St Godwald’s Road or at keithjudson.co.uk.
