BROMSGROVE couple Ralph and Beryl Head are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary.
Ralph and Beryl marked the big day with a lunch for more than 30 family and friends at a hotel in Wem, Shropshire.
The day was organised by their daughter Thelma Pugh.
The couple, who live in Warwick Hall Gardens, met while serving with the RAF during the war and were married in Beryl's home town of Rhyl, north Wales.
They moved to Bromsgrove in 1950 when Ralph came to work for the Rural District Council.
Both have been active members of the Bromsgrove community and Avoncroft and have been members of the church in Tardebigge for over 50 years, where their children Norman, Frank and Thelma attended the primary school before going on to Bromsgrove County High School.
