Weather: Mixture of rain, sleet and snow
CLOUD and rain will swoop in from the west today, feeling very cold.
The showers may turn to hill snow to some lower levels this afternoon (Thursday, January 12), most likely in the south of the region.
It will feel cold with a maximum temperature of just 4 °C.
Further sleet and snow showers are expected tonight, with possibly a spell of more widespread rain, sleet and snow moving southwards towards the end of the night.
That will leave icy conditions for man and a minimum temperature of -3 °C.
