FOODIES are in for a treat this summer as Bromsgrove’s high street welcomes the launch of an exciting new food festival.

More than 30 different stalls are already on the billing for the new free Bromsgrove Food Festival, featuring stands for hot and cold food, alcohol, chocolate and cakes.

Attractions also include live entertainment and kids activities, along with local chefs who will showcase the very best of the town’s culinary offerings with a live cookery theatre.

Owen Prosser-Stock of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: "We are really looking forward to deliver a brand-new free Food Festival in Bromsgrove this year.

"As the market operators since February 2016, we really want to deliver more and exciting events over the coming months and years to add to the offer of Better Bromsgrove.

"This year's festival will feature over 30 different stalls, as well as live cookery demonstrations, live music and some great family activities."

The festival takes place on Sunday, June 25, from 10am until 6pm.

Organisers CJ's Events Warwickshire also run the successful Warwick and Kenilworth Food Festivals.

Barkers Catering, Beki's Brownies, Caribbean Fusion, The Taste of Thailand, and I Love Creps are just some of the names on the billing for Bromsgrove.
