TWO burglars pretending to be policemen stole cash and medals from an elderly woman's home in Bournheath.
The woman, who lives in Hinton Fields, heard a noise at her front door between 7.40pm and 7.52pm on February 13, as the two men tried to force it open.
When she confronted the offenders, they said they were police officers and the victim let them in.
They later made off with her cash and a selection of medals.
Bromsgrove's North and Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team have confirmed they are actively investigating the burglary, after visiting the elderly woman this morning (February 15).
Anyone with information is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 0653s.
