GREEN-fingered Bromsgrove residents are being invited to try their hand at a unique ‘hedge laying’ session.
Participants on the one-day introductory course will learn the art of preparing and laying a hedge which can be used as a natural field boundary.
The traditional country skill helps rejuvenate existing hedgerows by encouraging new growth, improving hedge structure and providing a haven for wildlife.
The session, which is ran by Richard Clarke from Really Rural Ltd, is held at Avoncroft Museum from 10am-4pm on Friday, March 3, and costs £65 per person.
Group sizes are restricted to a maximum of eight, so people are advised to book early.
To book, email info@reallyrural.co.uk or phone 01885 489104, or visit reallyrural.co.uk for more information.
