The history of archaeology in Bromsgrove will go under the spotlight at the 31st Bromsgrove Lecture this April.
Rob Hedge, who works for Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service, will be giving the lecture, entitled 'Beneath Your Feet, Behind the Facade; Bromsgrove's Archaeological Heritage', at Bromsgrove School on April 11.
Specialising in field archaeology, Rob has worked on projects aimed at enhancing public involvement, including the DigBromsgrove project. He was also a digger for Time Team Series 20.
Tickets to the event cost £6 and are available from Foto Factory in Bromsgrove's High Street, or by calling 01527 877277.
