STAFF and elderly residents at a Bromsgrove care home are celebrating being rated 'good' in all areas in their most recent CQC inspection.
Inspectors visited Breme Care Home on February 21, and were impressed with its 'friendly and considerate' staff and 'supportive and open culture'.
A follow-up report noted an improvement in the Provide Road home's safety, after it was listed as 'requiring improvement' during the CQC's last inspection in October 2014.
One resident told the inspector: "I like living here because staff are kind and you can talk to them about anything."
A member of staff told them how much they loved working at Breme. "It feels like you are looking after your own relatives," they said.
To celebrate the result, staff and residents hosted a high-tea party on Tuesday with a spread of traditional cakes.
Deputy home manager Vicky Collett said: "All the team here at Breme work so hard to provide the best possible care for our residents so we are all over the moon that this is reflected with such a positive rating.
“The reports highlights how exceptionally caring our staff are, how welcoming the home is and how supportive our management is, which is something we are so proud of.”
