DAREDEVILS are being invited to experience the thrill of a lifetime – all while raising money for charity – by signing up to the annual Parachute for Primrose skydive.

The event, which takes place at Brackley Airfield on September 23, sees entrants jump from 10,000 feet at over 120mph to help raise money for Bromsgrove’s Primrose Hospice.

Participants must raise a minimum of £395 and have just a month – until June 16 – to sign up.

Fundraising manager Emma Williams said: “Parachuting for Primrose is a challenge of a life time and we are always looking for participants to sign up and support us here at the Primrose.

“We hold two organised jumps a year but supporters can jump on a day to suit them as well.

“We only receive 16.4 per cent of our funding from the Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG so we rely heavily on donations from our supporters and simply would not be able to continue to provide our services for free to our patients and their families without their support.”

The event has raised £9,000 for Primrose over the past two years, to help them support people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across north east Worcestershire
