TRIBUTES have been paid to a "beloved" five-year-old boy, who died following a serious two-car crash in Frankley.

Harvey Bannister, aged five and from Birmingham, was taken to hospital after the car he was travelling in was involved in a collision on Saturday, November 4.

He sadly died a short time later.

A statement on behalf of his family said: "We are devastated at the sudden death of our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin, Harvey.

"We were all so proud of him and he will be desperately missed both by us and his friends."

Officers were called to the incident on Ravenhayes Lane, Frankley Green, at 11.51am on November 4.

Harvey was a passenger in a Kia Ceed.

A 41-year-old man who was the driver of the second car, a Peugeot, was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

Three others remain in hospital.
