CHARITABLE children from a Bromsgrove stage school have launched their own 'Christmas Choir' to raise money for charity during the festive season.
Singers from Stagecoach School have been busy rehearsing ahead of their first community concert this Saturday, at the Christmas market in Bromsgrove's high street.
This will be followed by fundraising events at Waitrose on December 16 and Asda on December 17, where the group will be singing festive songs while packing shoppers' bags, to raise funds for St Basils housing project.
Leah Alcock, principal of Stagecoach Bromsgrove, said: "As a locally based theatre school we want to work more closely with the local community.
"We have a very dedicated group of children who are always keen to perform live in public.
"The new choir enables us to take these talented students out into the community, to provide entertainment combined with important fundraising campaigns.”
Stagecoach choir will be performing at the Christmas market on November 18 between 1.30pm and 4pm.
