LEGENDARY tribute band Fred Zeppelin are performing in Lickey End next month.
Fred Zeppelin, named by Kerrang as one of the top ten best bands to see live, will be playing at Lickey End Social Club on December 8.
The Midlands-based band have been paying tribute to 1970s rock band for 20 years and have had Kidderminster-born frontman Robert Plant attend three of their gigs.
Four members formed The Freds out of their admiration and love of Led Zeppelin’s music in 1993.
Their aim was to reproduce note-for-note the music of Led Zeppelin without dressing up.
The line-up has changed in the last 20 years with vocalist Rob Bloomer being replaced with Steven Gale and bassist Kevin Brown with Elliot Gavin.
Tickets to the Alcester Road gig cost £8 or £10 on the door from 8.15pm. Visit wegottickets.com/event/389510.
