HISTORIC motorsport returns to Droitwich once again this summer as the Chateau Impney hosts its action-packed hill climb.

See over 200 competitors strive to write their names in a new chapter of the Chateau's motorsport history by challenging one of the UK's most unique hill climb courses.

At the 2017 event, spectators were thrilled by exhilarating motorsport, awe-inspiring air displays, lunchtime demonstrations, specialist traders, and lots of family-friendly attractions.

Motorsport enthusiasts were able to explore the open paddock, where they could get up close and personal with some of the impressive cars facing the Chateau Impney challenge.

Plus, spectators were able to catch the action on the course from the general access grandstands or the large-format screens throughout the hill climb site.

A spokesman said: “The Chateau Impney Hill Climb prides itself on having a relaxed ‘summer garden party’ atmosphere, whilst offering all of the excitement and glamour that comes hand in hand with historic motorsport.

"The uniquely imposing Chateau Impney with its French inspired architecture, nestled within the rolling hills of the English countryside, forms a remarkable centre piece for the event."

This year’s event takes place on July 7 and 8.
