DISMAYED Studley boss Vaughan Pearshouse couldn't hide his frustration this week after yet another of their games fell victim to the weather.

Studley haven't played since February 24 and still have 15 games to fit in before the end of this season's Midland League Division One campaign in April.

Pearshouse admitted: "The players are getting really fed-up now, they're just dying for a game but it's frustrating for everyone.

"In all my years involved with football, I've never known it to be this bad. If it's not snowing, then it's raining.

"The pitch at Studley looks great from a distance. It's all marked and rolled, but it's got surface water on it.

"We knew on Friday that we wouldn't be playing at the weekend and I can't see us playing this week either."

Weather permitting, Studley are due to entertain Nuneaton Griff at the Beehive this Saturday and then travel to Paget Rangers on Monday.
