WEBBS at Wychbold is hosting a series of luxury Easter egg making workshops with Redditch chocolatier Clayton James.

Clayton James, of Black Forest Chocolates, will be leading the 'Meet and Eat' events on March 21, and 22 at 6pm.

Guests will be treated to a chocolate introduction, tastings and a short Easter egg building and gift wrapping demonstration, before building their own personalised eggs.

Mr Clayton, who has promised to reveal a few tricks of the chocolatier trade, said: "These special workshops are a one-off opportunity to see and experience the craft and attention to detail it takes for a chocolatier to create the perfect Easter egg.

"I’ll be looking for guests to bring a steady hand and their creative vision for their egg."

Decorations will be provided, and a prize will be awarded to the person with the most creative design.

Ed Webb, executive chairman of Webbs, said: "Easter is a great time of year to indulge your sweet tooth and our luxury Easter egg workshops with the experts from Black Forest Chocolates are the perfect events to take that indulgence to the next level.

"At Food at Webbs, we are dedicated to sharing the stories of local producers as part of our Meet and Eat event experiences.

"Luxury chocolate is often associated with France, Belgium or Switzerland but, these Easter egg workshops are a great way to showcase the talent we have on our doorstep.”

Workshops are recommended for ages 15 and over, with tickets priced at £30 per person.
