ALL Saints' Church in Bromsgrove will be open to the public free of charge on Thursdays until the end of October.

Between 10.30am and 4.30pm, visitors can admire the stained glass windows, made by local craftsmen, learn about the church's history and enjoy a hot drink without paying any entry free.

A spokesman for the Birmingham Road church said: "Now is your opportunity to learn about the church’s history and to enjoy the windows and examples of the work of Bromsgrove Guild.

"You will be welcome to browse around the building to find a quiet place to sit by yourself or to enjoy a chat over a cup of tea or coffee. There’s a bookstall, too.

"This might even be a chance to take a look inside the church to see if this is the church where you would like to be married or to have a child baptised."

Free entry will not apply during the church's annual art exhibition at the end of June.

Those wishing to book a wedding or baptism are invited to visit on the first Thursday evening of the month between 6.30pm and 8pm.
