MP Sajid Javid and a sheep were among special guests at a Bromsgrove care home's open day.
Heathbrook House Care Home in Stoke Heath held an 'Animal Antics' event, which included a visit from a lamb, in celebration of National Care Home Open Day.
Drew Star, activities co-ordinator at Bupa UK, which manages the care home, said: "[Mr Javid] took a tour of the home and commented on how beautiful it was. He took time out to speak to our residents and their relatives who joined us on the day."
Band Southern Comfort held a special performance in the home's Willows Lounge, while Kyle Finn performed in the Cedars Lounge.
This was followed by a high tea afternoon, to mark the Her Majesty's 92nd birthday, where residents posed with a cardboard cut-out of the Queen herself.
A bake sale on the day raised £62 for Dementia UK.
Drew added: "A lot of fun was had by all, and every single resident was involved."
