FECKENHAM produced a fabulous fightback with the ball having looked down and out against Worcester CC - only to lose out by one wicket.

Skipper Jamie Reddish struck 28 but found precious little support with the bat as Feckenham floundered to just 91 all out in less than 23 overs.

But Worcester's reply was anything but straightforward as Feckenham turned the game around with some fantastic bowling from Tom Coulson and Matt Henning.

Left arm quick Coulson claimed six for 42 from 12 overs, taking his tally of wickets for the season to 22.

Swing bowler Henning backed up Coulson by capturing three for 46 to leave Worcester reeling on the ropes at 75 for nine.

But Worcester's last pair of Shaun D'Oliveira and last man Raheel Lone refused to budge.

D'Oliveira struck 14 not out while Lone added 13 not out as Worcester scraped home on 93 for nine.

Feckenham skipper Reddish said: "The last pair chanced their arm and got away with it. In fact they saw the game out quite well.

"We didn't put enough runs on the board, but in fairness both sides bowled and fielded extremely well."

Feckenham bid to bounce straight back on Saturday when they entertain Bewdley.
