THE Queen greeted US president Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at Windsor Castle during the pair's visit to the UK.

Mr Trump said the UK-US relationship was “the highest level of special”.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said he did not feel Britain should be “rolling out the red carpet” for Mr Trump.

CAMPAIGNERS have been refused permission to fly a Donald Trump baby blimp at Holyrood this weekend.

The 20ft inflatable depicting the US president as a nappy-clad baby holding a mobile phone was flown above Parliament Square in London on Friday.

It prompted Mr Trump to say it made him “feel unwelcome” in the city, on his second day of a four-day UK visit.

AN Islamic State (IS) supporter who called for an attack on Prince George has been jailed for life with a minimum of 25 years.

Husnain Rashid, of Nelson, Lancashire, had maintained his innocence throughout proceedings at Woolwich Crown Court, but dramatically changed his plea at the end of the prosecution opening and admitted a string of terror offences.

The 32-year-old used a Telegram chat group to call on supporters on October 13 to target the four-year-old heir to the throne, who had started at Thomas’s Battersea, in south-west London, a month earlier.
