A MAN was attacked with a knife by two robbers as he sat in his car in Bromsgrove.

The incident took place some time between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Thursday, July 19 on the junction of Church Road and Church Lane.

Two men on a blue motorbike and in possession of a knife approached the victim who was in his vehicle, a white Mercedes Sprinter van, waiting to turn right onto Church Lane.

The men threatened the victim and asked for money.

The passenger of the motorbike attacked the victim who sustained a laceration to his arm and had a large quantity of money stolen.

The victim was treated for his injuries in hospital and left shaken following the incident.

The driver of the motorcycle is described as wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up and no helmet.

The passenger on the back of the motorcycle is described as an Asian man, of medium build, wearing a black helmet with no visor, dark coloured clothing and black gloves.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
