A POPULAR Zumba class aimed specifically at parents, grandparents and carers is relaunching in Bromsgrove this month.

Mum's Zumba is designed to get guardians of pre-school-aged children active, while also having fun and getting fit without needing to worry about childcare.

Elisabeth Cottam, sports development officer at Bromsgrove District Council, said: "Bring your little ones along to sleep, watch or play whilst you do a workout.

"The sessions are a lot of fun and we’re really pleased to be able to relaunch them. Come along, meet new people and join in if you haven’t tried it yet.”

Just like traditional Zumba, the sessions see participants working out to Latin and pop music.

Classes are set to relaunch at Bromsgrove Sports and Leisure Centre on Monday, September 10. Weekly sessions will then run from 11am to 12pm, costing £3 each.

No experience is needed to take part and participants do not need to be a member of the leisure centre to join.
