BROMSGROVE police are advising bike owners not to leave them unattended following the theft of a child's cycle. The silver Apollo mountain bike, valued at £80, was left leaning against a hedgerow by Finstall First School, on Carnforth Road, and taken between 7 and 8pm on Monday, June 23. PC Stan Baker said: "Owners are reminded never to leave cycles unattended outside, even for a short time. At home they should be kept in well-secured garages or shed, and ideally attached to a floor or wall-mounted anchor lock for extra security." Anyone with information about the stolen bicycle should call Bromsgrove police on 08457 444 888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
