POLICE have issued CCTV images of two men who tried to walk out of a garden centre with five Gore-Tex jackets - valued at £1,000.

The men were caught on camera at the Cotswold Outdoors store at Webbs in Wychbold, Worcester Road, on the outskirts of Droitwich Spa and Bromsgrove, at around 1.45pm on June 1. Police have only just released details.

The manager saw them behaving suspiciously in the changing rooms and challenged them. Although he was pushed, he retrieved a bag containing the coats before the men ran outside and made off in a green Rover 25.

The first man is described as white, 6ft tall, with short, light blond hair and wearing a grey shirt. The second, also white, was 6ft 2ins tall, with short, dark hair and wearing a black suit and glasses.

If anyone recognises the men from the pictures and/or the descriptions they are asked to contact South Worcestershire Police on 08457 444888, quoting 397S/010608.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
