Firefighters spent three hours tackling a kitchen fire in Darwen.
On Wednesday, May 8, three fire engines were called to Belgrave Road, just after 7.30pm.
Crews used a variety of equipment to extinguish the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 7.36pm, three fire engines from Darwen and Blackburn attended a fire involving the kitchen of a house on Belgrave Road, Darwen.
“Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two positive pressure ventilation units, cutting away equipment, hand tools and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately three hours and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
