YOUNGSTERS from a Rubery school did everything to make sure their end of year production was a success.

Children from Holywell Primary School performed Charles Dickens’ classic Oliver Twist for their end of year production.

“We are immensely proud of the children.Their hard work was rewarded with audiences who showed their appreciation enthusiastically.”

Will Davis, assistant headteacher

Years five and six spent weeks preparing for the show, holding rehearsals during and after school.

The children wowed audiences with their renditions of Consider Yourself and I’d Do Anything during the performances, which took place at the beginning of the month.

Will Davis, assistant headteacher and co-ordinator for the show, said: “We are immensely proud of the children.Their hard work was rewarded with audiences who showed their appreciation enthusiastically.”
