A FUNDRAISER for overseas underprivileged children was drumming up support this week.
The Amber Centre, which provides a service for children with learning difficulties, sensory impairment and challenging behaviours, was visited by Reggae artist Neville Brown and Beth Haining of charity ‘Tribute to African Children’.
The Broad Street-based centre held a fundraising event last Thursday, (August 21) complete with drums and fundraising activities, and the event managed to raise £230 for the charity who help vulnerable children in Africa.
Bex Jarvis, from the Amber Support Centre, said for their first fundraiser the event had gone well and they were already planning their next event.
