LIBRARIES in and around Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa and throughout the county are taking part in a big picture party competition during October.
Children and families are being invited to draw a picture from their favourite picture book and enter the contest to win a range of prizes, including a family pass to Cadbury World. Libraries will provide all the materials needed to take part. The big picture party is an initiative by Booktrust, the Campaign for Drawing and the Campaign for Learning to celebrate picture books as part of National Year of Reading.
