HELP is at hand for local people struggling to cope with the credit crunch.
Worcestershire County Council is helping by providing vital advice and guidance on its website.
A new page called 'Economy Watch: Information and advice for residents' has been designed to point people who are worried about their financial situation to the best sources of advice, information and practical help.
The service provides a quick and convenient way to find information from a wide range of agencies and organisations, including Citizens Advice, Jobcentre Plus and Directgov, among many others. Managing your money, claiming benefits and finding work are all covered on the new page.
Businesses looking for support are also catered for on the county council's website, which includes a page designed to help local companies deal with the effects of the recession.
Anyone seeking advice, information or practical help with the effects of the global slump should visit www.worcestershire.gov.uk and follow the 'Economy Watch' links.
