Bromsgrove museum holds successful fundraiser

A BROMSGROVE museum has held a successful fundraiser and its first major event for a number of years.

Avoncroft museum held a garden party in June, in the Gueston Hall lawn. The Nero String Quartet, and singer Amelia Whiteman, one third of the opera trio Elysium, entertained 90 guests who were in attendance.

Organisers said the fundraiser raised around £1500, which will be used towards the development of the museum, and its work in heritage, education and conservation.
